HUMBERTO MAYOL (10 de enero de 1955. La Habana, Cuba) Es fotógrafo, Licenciado en Periodismo en la Universidad de La Habana. Tiene dentro de la Fotografía Cubana Contemporánea una reconocida y destacada obra personal, que gira alrededor del hombre y su universo. Ha recibido más de veinte premios nacionales e internacionales Su obra fotográfica se encuentra en instituciones docentes, galerías, museos y colecciones de Cuba, los Estados Unidos, Europa, Japón y Latinoamérica, donde también ha realizado más 15 exposiciones personales y ha participado en más 45 colectivas. Fue fundador del Periódico Tribuna de la Habana y posteriormente fotógrafo y jefe de Fotografía de la Revista Bohemia. Ha Colaborado además, con otros periódicos y revistas nacionales y extranjeros. Is photographer, Graduate in Journalism in the University of Havana. He has inside the Picture Cuban Contemporary a grateful and outstanding personal work that rotates around the man and their universe.
